Register for the Eat Out to Help Out Scheme
Consumers can use the Eat Out to Help Out Scheme at a participating establishment to get a 50% discount on food or non-alcoholic drinks to eat or drink in (up to a maximum of £10 discount per diner) – and they can use it as many times as they like.
There is no need for a voucher to use this scheme and it can be used at the same time as other offers and discounts. There is no minimum spend. All diners in a group of any size can use the discount. The discount does not apply to alcoholic drinks or service charges.
The scheme will be in operation every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday between 3 and 31 August. The discount will be automatically available at participating establishments which can then claim a reimbursement from the government for the discount they’ve given.
Participating establishments can include:
- restaurants, cafés, bars and pubs
- work and school canteens
- food halls
Consumers can find out which establishments are registered for the scheme within five miles of their postcode on the gov.uk website.
Businesses can register to join the scheme until 31 August.
