JIOTD – Train staff on new hygiene standards

Hygiene is a key element of controlling workplace risk so it’s vital that staff are trained on the new hygiene standards. Even more important, those standards and the advice around them are changing constantly, so it’s vital that not only are staff trained – they need to be retrained continually as circumstances change.

Keeping up with current advice and communicating that to staff, some of whom may work part time and not around for training at the same times as other colleagues, is vital to ensure that standards are understood and applied as they should be – and must be.
