Weekly Roundup: 16th April 2020

Chloe Diamond Uncategorised

Welcome to the weekly roundup!

We hope you enjoyed the long weekend and that you’ve had a positive week so far.

As you’ve probably seen, we’ve been sharing our Idea of the Day videos with different tips that you can use in your business during the COVID-19 era and beyond.

Now we want to hear from you.

We’re eager to gather and share stories from the high streets to promote ideas that can help support high street businesses during this period. These will then be shared on our social media and newsletter which is seen by thousands of people every week.

This is a great chance for you to share your expertise, support other high street business owners, and get your business seen by the thousands of people in the SaveTheHighStreet network!

So, to get involved, simply send us a short 3-5 minute audio or video clip, or written text, telling us your thoughts on the current situation and what’s working for you, as well as what you’re doing to prepare for the future.

Please send your ideas to chloe@joinjo.com and we’ll get back to you soon!

This week’s tips cover everything from sending out email newsletters to selling your products through Amazon. We share these videos every day exclusively on our Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube channels.

You can also find them as audio snippets on major podcast platforms like Anchor, Apple Podcasts, Spotify and Google Podcasts!

Monday – In Monday’s video, Jem talked about the benefits of using Amazon to sell your products online. Find out what he had to say here.

Tuesday – On Tuesday, with the long weekend officially over, Chloe shared her thoughts on using email newsletters to reach your community. Find her video here.

Wednesday – Wednesday’s video by Fraser explored the pros of offering limited bookings as a way to cater to your community during lockdown. This one is especially important for those of you whose shops are staying open! Watch Fraser’s video here.

Thursday – On Thursday, Sarah discussed the importance of re-evaluating your stock and suppliers – find out what she had to say here.

Friday – We finished the week with Jem again, but this time he shared his thoughts on why it’s important to make the most of LinkedIn. You can find his video here.

We’ll keep sharing ideas with you every day, so make sure to tune in!

If you used any of these tips in your business we’d love to hear about it. Feel free to tag #SaveTheHighStreet or write to us on social media, or you can drop us a message at hello@joinjo.com.
