Individuality – Why Independent Shops Need It
We spoke to Steve Radford of Radford Accessories on how he helps small businesses with their stock and product with fair prices. First and foremost, he notices that you can see the same kind of shops everywhere you go in the world, and that is just boring. The answer? Individuality!
He strongly believes in creating a high street full of individuality, unique shops and a personal touch.
In the 90’s everything was fine, there was a structure. There was independent and wholesaler, and everything worked. With the internet, the price increase, the rent increase it all got more difficult. All things considered, independent retailers needs to find how to do good business again.\\
Steve Radford is the founder of Radford Accessories. The business was established 40 years ago as a Wholesaler of Fashion Jewellery. After a period of sustained growth they are now one of the UK’s largest and most established importers and distributors of fashion accessories. As a consequence this includes jewellery, hair accessories, handbags, purses, scarves, belts and umbrellas. Hence, they are enjoying great success with many leading multiple retailers across the UK, Ireland and Europe.
